For many people, the first news of the Omagh tragedy came by way of interruptions to Radio Five's live broadcast of the Man United/Leicester City match.
As Andy said yesterday, by 5.30pm, the result of the football match did not seem important. But it is important that the stars we admire share our humanity: on that score, Andy Cole is a top striker in more ways than one.
