Fitting tribute to Omagh dead
SO glad the clergy of Omagh changed their minds and decided to stick with the bereaved who will be commemorating the death of their loved ones this weekend. Why they thought their place should be only at the official commemoration run by the council, which has Sinn Fein members, is beyond most of us. Maybe the thought of losing valuable members of their congregations and the money they contribute annually to the church was the deciding factor. But I'll be generous and hope they saw the light quickly.
What a pity it had to be shone in their faces to see the error of their ways.
