ADAMS MUST ACT
Adams must act
The Press has made much of Gerry Adams' condemnation of the Omagh atrocity.
However, these few words of condemnation ring hollow in the ears of those who have suffered at the hands of terrorists.
Those who planted the Omagh bomb are well known to the republican leadership. IRA/Sinn Fein leaders have played a party in the atrocity and cannot distance themselves from their responsibility for it.
Mr Adams, if he wants to gain the slightest semblance of credibility, must immediately decommission IRA/Sinn Fein weapons. Further, he needs to provide the information that will lead to the arrest and conviction of those who caused this loss of life and agony.
A failure to act will confirm Mr Adams words of condemnation are uttered for political expediency and are meaningless.
