CHARITY'S TRIBUTE TO ITS VOLUNTEERS

Charity's tribute to its volunteers

TRIBUTE was paid yesterday to two teenagers who died in the bomb by the charity Oxfam. The girls worked at the shop in their spare time. Samantha McFarland, 17, and Lorraine Wilson, 15, gave up their Saturdays to help out there.
Dr Brian Scott, a director of Oxfam in Northern Ireland, said that everyone who worked with the two girls is deeply shocked.
He said that another volunteer at the shop had suffered another tragedy in losing her brother and nephew in the blast.
He added: "I wish to express the shock and sadness of the whole of the Oxfam family at the deaths of Samantha and Lorraine."
