LETTER TO EDITOR
Sir, - Will the nightmare of Irish history never end? I never again thought to feel so sad and then so angry as after Enniskillen, the Shankill bombing, or the Greysteel massacre, but Omagh is the worst ever. We have supped full of horrors.
I have lived in Northern Ireland for several years and have many kind friends there, and I feel for them so much, knowing how they long for peace and would make any sacrifice for their children and the coming generations to achieve it, and compromise for the good of all.
The people of Northern Ireland have suffered enough, and we Irish people have a duty and a responsibility "to stop this once and for all in the name of our country. Let the "real" people of Ireland stand up and cry out: "Never again!" - Yours, etc.,
