Inter-church prayer service
An inter-church prayer service will be held at 3 p.m. outside City Hall in Cork on Saturday to commemorate the victims of the Omagh bombing. The Lord Mayor of Cork, Mr Joe O'Flynn, has invited the people of the city to show solidarity with the people of Omagh and the families of those who were killed or injured.
The 20-minute service will be attended by Bishop John Buckley of the Diocese of Cork and Ross, Archdeacon Robin Bantry White (Church of Ireland), the Rev Kenneth Todd (Methodist) and the Rev John Faris (Presbyterian).
