Book to aid Omagh fund

LIMITED edition collection of poetry and drawings has been published with all proceeds going to the legal action being taken by relatives of victims of the Omagh bomb.
There are 100 copies of hOMAGHe on sale for £70 or €100, the idea of poet and Aosdana member Hugh Maxton.
Two of his poems are included in hOMAGHe, along with four drawings by Cork-based artist and sculptress Margaret Fitzgibbon.
Mr Maxton said the book had a dual purpose.
"In some ways it's a collector's item but in another way anyone who feels they would like to support the case can and they will have something to put on the shelves or to pass on to their grandchildren."
Everyone involved in hOMAGHe gave their time and work freely to ensure the fund would benefit fully.
Mr Maxton said one of the first things he had done after moving back to Ireland from London was visit Omagh.
"I wanted to see what the town was like and I saw how it remained deeply effected by what had happened," he said.
"I had lived in Derry during the early days of the Troubles and been through Bloody Sunday and I know a bit about how recovery takes place."
