Omagh court action begins
THE landmark legal action against the man alleged to be behind the 1998 Omagh bombing is due to begin today in Belfast high court. The families of the bomb's victims launched the unprecedented civil action in July 2002. Twenty-nine people, including a mother pregnant with unborn twins, were killed in the blast, which was claimed by the Real IRA.
