Feeling of hope will return to Omagh

THE streets of Omagh will have all the atmosphere of the Left Bank of Paris as new life is breathed back into the town this Christmas.
Mingling with shoppers all this month will be a colourful mixture of face-painters, clowns, unicyclists, jugglers and musicians to delight and entertain locals and families visiting the Tyrone town.,
The kaleidoscope of colour will also include Omagh's traders showing off their creative skills with a feast of imaginative window displays to show off their wares, and the many bargains on offer over the Christmas period
This Saturday (28th) sees a group of food and craft producers holding their Christmas market in St Joseph's Hall from 10am -3pm.
Next weekend sees a Mummers play in the town centre on Saturday and the Warrington Male Voice Choir will visit the Leisure Centre on Sunday (6th).
On December 10 and 11 the Ulster American Folk Park has its inaugural Christmas festival with mummers, mulled wine, carols and traditional
Christmas food.
Downtown Radio bring their Coke cruiser to the town centre on December 12 for an afternoon of fun and games.
So whether you go to Omagh looking for that elusive bargain Christmas present, or as a sign of friendship to help the townspeople over their hardship, a trip to Omagh is surely living out the Christmas message.
Visitors to Omagh will also be able to enjoy the true sounds of Christmas as carol singers from throughout the district unite to provide a truly festive backdrop to your visit to Omagh.
