BOMB VICTIMS TO REBUILD LIVES

Bomb victims to rebuild lives

TWO young victims of the Omagh bombing will start to rebuild their lives today.
Michelle Mimnagh (17) and Suzanne Kelly (20) both left hospital yesterday after being fitted with artificial limbs.
Both young women lost their right legs, but yesterday pledged to rebuild their lives rocked by the August 15 bomb blast.
Omagh based Suzanne, a student teacher in Liverpool, said she is now looking forward to returning to her course.
"My friends are back at college now, I'm just dying to get back, I really am. So I am basically going to try to put every effort I can into getting back to college," she said.
Michelle from Drumquin, who also left Musgrave Park Hospital yesterday, added: "When the bomb went off and I first looked down at my leg, the first thing I thought was I'm never going to be able to walk again...,' but now that I have got this far I am really delighted."
