United hero big hit with Omagh

MANCHESTER United's Andy Cole scored a hit with scores of children in Omagh yesterday when he spent a day in the town.
The striker met some of the young victims of the Omagh bomb as well as other children being treated at Tyrone County Hospital.
And he spent the afternoon meeting schoolchildren at Omagh leisure centre.
The day was organised by the Omagh Manchester Utd Supporters Club, after they voted Cole their player of the year.
"Immediately I felt I should do something but didn't know what," he said.
"I hope my visit in some small way can help the community recover for a better tomorrow."
A hospital spokesman said the visit went very well.
"The children's faces were a picture," she said.
"He is a very quiet and reserved man but great with the children. He signed anything people could get their hands on, and he made sure he spoke to every single person who was there.
"It was a great day for the children and a great boost for their morale."
