DUNGANNON

DUNGANNON

THREE thousand people congregated in Dungannon to remember the Omagh bomb victims.
Prayers and hymns were led by the representatives of the four main churches in the area. Music rang out across the town as the Dungannon Silver Band played tributes to the victims and their families while men, women and children joined in the hymns.
Addressing the crowd, Rev Derek Swann said: "We have come to remember those who have suffered as the result of this act of terror, those who mourn the loss of loved ones, those who suffered injury and those who will carry the physical and emotional scars of their injuries for the rest of their lives."
