Celtic man collects money for Omagh

A Scottish-Irish Omagh Fund has been set up to raise money for the victims of last Saturday's bombing in the Tyrone town, it was disclosed yesterday.
The establishment of the fund was announced last night by former Celtic director and businessman Brian Dempsey.
A minimum of £50,000 has been guaranteed from a special gala night performance of The Celtic Story, the hugely successful musical based on the famous Glasgow club's history.
The money raised by the performance in Dublin's Gaiety Theatre on September 13 will be passed on to victims of the blast which killed 28 people and injured more than 200.
Members of the public will be able to contribute to the fund. Further details will be announced at a later date.
Mr Dempsey made the announcement at an evening reception for delegates attending a convention in Ballina, Co Mayo.
