LOYAL LODGES JOIN IN TRIBUTES

Loyal lodges join in tributes

IN PORTADOWN, 200 members of the Orange Order - continuing their stand-off at Drumcree since July 5 - took part in a service of remembrance for Omagh.
And the Royal Black Institution yesterday complied with a Parades Commission ban on its lower Ormeau Road parade as a mark of respect to Omagh victims.
The Ballynafeigh members were prevented from parading to an annual service in the Presbyterian Assembly Hall yesterday afternoon.
More than 1,000 RBP members from the seven Belfast districts attended the service, where a statement from the Belfast Grand Black Chapter extended heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved and those injured.
