STUDENTS MUSIC NIGHT FOR OMAGH
Students' music night for Omagh
MORE than 100 teenagers from both sides of the Border will take part in a special concert in aid of the Omagh fund in Dundalk Institute of Technology on Friday night.
The show will feature a choir and orchestra with members from secondary schools in Newry, Banbridge and Dundalk.
The orchestra is the only cross-Border and cross-community one in the country and the students are from the St Louis Secondary School, Dundalk, Abbey Christian Brothers Grammar School, Newry and Banbridge Academy.
Special guests include conductor Gearoid Grant and a choir from the National School of Performing Arts in Helsinki. The kaleidoscope of culture show starts at 8pm.
