Service for Omagh
AN ecumenical prayer service led by an Omagh-born priest was held in the Irish Centre in Birmingham yesterday in memory of the 29 people killed in the bomb attack in the Co Tyrone town.
The service was led by Fr Donal Gillespie, who was on holiday in his native Omagh at the time of the bombing. It was organised by the Tyrone County Association in Birmingham, which also plans to open a book of condolence.
