Fund to Benefit from GAA

The Relief fund for the Omagh bomb victims could receive as much as £200.000 from Saturday's All-Ireland hurling semi-final replay between Offlay and Clare.
The GAA announced yesterday that it does not intend benefiting financially from the match which was hastily arranged after last saturday's game when the referee blew the whistle three minutes before the end.
President Joe McDonagh said "a substantial portion of the game's revenue" would be going towards the Omagh Fund.
But the Association would also be urging clubs around the country to make their own donations.
