"Whatever we do cannot bring back the people who have been killed but we hope this will help the relatives and the mimed
The bombing was a senseless murderous act. We professionals are fortunate in what we do and it is only right that we help those less fortunate.
"I am a Tyrone county man and Omagh is not very far from my home town of Dungannon. I played a lot of golf there in my amateur days and although I did not know anyone killed or injured I have lost some friends in the Troubles."
Meanwhile, the Mayor of Limerick. Joe Harrington has also initiated a fund for the Omagh victims.
This will also help, to set up an exchange programme between children from the north and south.
The Mayor, who travelled, to Omagh for the funeral of Adrian Gallagher said: " None of us will ever get terrible tragedy".
