Omagh Fund donations
The deadline for donations to the Omagh Fund by clubs of the county has been extended until the 31st of January. All clubs in the county are expected to contribute to the fund and should send their donations to Fr. Brian Quinn, County Treasurer, Church of the Irish Martyrs, Letterkenny. While on the subject of the Omagh Fund, Carrick cyclist Pete Boyle, intends to do a sponsored cycle from Buncrana to Omagh on the day of the Donegal v. Tyrone N.F.L. match on the 14th of February. He hopes to collect money on the way and will have sponsorship cards in circulation over the next few weeks. Hopefully his gesture will be well supported.
