Health Board assistance

THE North Western Health Board confirmed this week that they had offered "practical" assistance to their colleagues across the border following Saturday's Omagh bombing.
Staff at Letterkenny General Hospital were in contact with Altnagelvin Hospital in Derry to offer assistance in dealing with the injured and while it wasn't necessary for anyone to receive treatment in Donegal, blood supplies were sent from Letterkenny to hospitals in the North as the need for more blood Became more urgent.
A NWHB spokesperson said this week they have also offered counselling services.
