Maloney deplores Omagh bombing
Labour Councillor Sean Maloney said the terrorists who planned and carried out the horrific bombing of Omagh should be brought to justice immediately.
"Through their evil and monstrous deeds these killers have wiped out the lives of so many people and caused horrific Injuries to so many others. The Government must use all of the wide range of laws currently within its power to catch the killers as quickly as possible.
"These people must be caught without delay so as not to allow them to carry out another vile deed against the people of Ireland", Councillor
Maloney said.
He went on: "The police forces. North and South, are entitled to the support and co-operation both of all those who supported the Good Friday Agreement and those within the majority who have respect for the democratic process.
"In particular I and the Buncrana branch of the Labour Party, would like to extend our condolences to the families of the three young Buncrana boys, James Barker, Sean McLaughlin and Oran Doherty. Our hearts go out to all of their relatives and friends for their terrible loss.
"These young boys were on a day trip to Omagh when they were so cruelly and savagely struck clown.
"We also extend our condolences to the families and friends of the two Spanish students who were killed in Saturday's massacre", Councillor Maloney concluded.
