Sir - As a resident of County Donegal and a father of four children, my wife and I extend heartfelt sympathies to all the bereaved, injured and distraught people of Buncrana. Omagh and Northern Ireland. This unspeakable atrocity carried out by the force of godless evil people must be avenged.
The media has a powerful voice in the world today. Newspapers and T.V. channels have unprecedented access to the public and body politic.
Now why cannot this energy be used to expose these evil cowards? We are hearing that this small group are known. Then, if so, print their ugly faces on every news report and every front page across the globe Let the public see these evil monsters and be aware of their whereabouts and destructive nature.
Surely like the awful African bombings it is possible to name the main suspects for Omagh, as was the case with the millionaire Arab living in Afghanistan?
If the niceties of politics and law must be observed, why not take the chance of meeting these evil monsters in court on libel charges. Is it possible that they will seek to take action against premier news companies like the Donegal newspapers or Sky and RTE or BBC.
Go after the news and report on these evil people. Sadly, brave Veronica Guerin died on her mission to get to the truth on criminals but her efforts were no? in vain, as many are now broken or in jail. Can a major news station not unearth these madmen in a similar brave report on the atrocities they have perpetrated on thousands of innocent victims over thirty years.

We cannot sit idly by wringing out hands in tears at the deaths of men, women and children in Omagh on Saturday. Their lives and deaths must be given an honour and purpose by apprehending the monsters and burying them forever without parole.
