SEAMUS MCKENNA
THE case against the 56-year-old labourer from south Armagh was dismissed. He has served six years in jail after he was convicted of possessing explosives.
The civil inquiry heard that McKenna had been "drowning his sorrows" in a pub run by Murphy in Dundalk on the night of the Omagh bomb. It was also claimed he had telephoned his estranged wife, Catherine, shortly after the explosion.
