A SOUTH Armagh man has been questioned by police investigating the Omagh bomb, it can be revealed today.
The individual was arrested in Jonesborough by members of the Omagh bomb investigation team on Tuesday morning but was later released without charge.
The Omagh bomb on August 15,1998, killed 29 people plus two unborn babies and sparked the largest police investigation in the UK.
A police spokesman said: "We can confirm that a man was arrested in Jonesborough on Tuesday. He was questioned about terrorist crime in the North West and has since been released."
