Omagh bomb: Gardai free two
TWO men questioned for three days in connection with the Omagh bomb have been released without charge, gardai said today.
The two, both in their 20s, were being held at Monaghan police station since their arrest on Tuesday morning in Co Louth.
The maximum period they could be detained without charge - 72 hours - was due to expire this morning.
A third man, also in his 20s, was arrested in connection with the bombing on Tuesday in Co Monaghan but was released without charge last night. A fourth man in his 20s was arrested in Co Monaghan at 7.30am today and is still being questioned.
