LOW KEY HOMAGE TO THE VICTIMS

Low key homage to the victims

THE relatives of victims of the Omagh bomb will be holding a series of small private church services to mark the second anniversary of the bombing. Two years on from the Real IRA bomb which killed 29 people and two unborn children, the commemorations will be very low key.
A short cross-denominational service was due to be held at the Garden of Remembrance at 3pm today, followed by wreath-laying led by the chief executive of Omagh District Council. The town was also expected to fall quiet at 3.10pm for a moment's silence to mark the exact time of the explosion. Individual families will hold services at churches over the next few days.
