Fitting tribute to victims
THE countrywide outpouring of grief and revulsion following the Omagh bomb is being expressed in various ways.
I feel many citizens on both sides of the border would respond to a community walk for peace and a service of remembrance.
Omagh is the county town of Tyrone - every county town and city in Ireland could bring together thousands of people for an interdenominational service. Such a time of silence, prayer and scripture reading would be a fitting way to remember all who have died and to pray for the injured and the bereaved. We all have much to lament and lay before the God of the brokenhearted.
