SIGNS OF PEACE
Signs of peace
AFTER the terrible bombing in Omagh we are left with a feeling of grief and helplessness. We will never know how much suffering the families of the dead and the injured themselves will have to endure for the rest of their lives?
We all wonder what we can do to show our sincerity in our our condolences. I would like to suggest that all flags murals and kerb painting in both sections of the community be removed or painted over as a mark of respect.
This is a constant reminder of the divisions in this country.
