Soldiers raise �10,000
SOLDIERS and their families based in Omagh have raised �10,000 for the Omagh Memorial Fund.
They are from the 1st Bn. The Queen's Lancashire Regiment, based at Lisanally Barracks.
The money was raised through an auction of items donated by families and soldiers. It was organised by the station's welfare office.
The money was handed over to the Duke of Abercorn, a trustee of the memorial fund.
