Boyzone Omagh gift

POP sensations Boyzone today offered their fans in Omagh an early Christmas present - by announcing an extra show on January 2.
The boy-band idols are to slot in a matinee as part of their intimate benefit gig at Omagh Leisure Centre.
And the good news for legions of Ulster fans is tickets to see the Dublin mega-stars will sell for just £10.
The extra show was prompted by the overwhelming demand for the first concert - all 1,000 tickets were snapped up within an hour.
Omagh manager Robert Clarke was forced to close his Route 66 shop as crowds of youngsters clamoured for the coveted tickets earlier this month.
Concert promoter Peter Aiken today said the response had been so amazing that Ronan, Stephen, Mikey, Shane and Keith wanted to "give something back" to their devoted followers.
"Obviously Boyzone will never be able to satisfy the ticket demand for their shows, especially unique ones such as the Omagh concerts," he said.
"But they sincerely hope the extra performance will benefit those who couldn't obtain tickets for the original show."
The chart-toppers first decided to play Omagh after paying a surprise visit to 15-year-old Claire Gallagher, who lost her sight in the August 15 bomb.
