PARTY CASH FOR OMAGH
Party cash for Omagh
A FUNDRAISING party after the recent charity match between Derry City and a Mick McCarthy select raised �3,500 for the Omagh appeal, it was revealed today.
The party was held at the Trinity Hotel and many famous faces, including May McFetridge, turned up, as did Brian Kennedy and Phil Coulter.
A spokeswoman for the hotel said today: "The party raised �3.500 for the Omagh fund which will be collated with cash raised by Derry City FC from the match itself and presented to the fund."
The cheque is due to be handed over to Derry City players today.
