Gaybo plans Late Late Show tribute to tragic community

POP stars and politicians have been invited to join a major television tribute in memory of the Omagh bomb victims.
The special Late Late Show on RTE, hosted by Gay Byrne, is to be screened on Friday 20.
Details of the line-up will not be released ahead of the show. But it's known the whole audience of several hundred will be made up of those who suffered in the outrage and who helped in the aftermath.
The tragedy on August 15 claimed 29 lives and more than 300 injured - many of them maimed.
Superstars U2, Oasis songwriter Noel Gallagher and The Corrs singing sensation from Dundalk are expected to be among the showbusiness celebrities.
Those invited to appear as special guests are believed to include Nobel Peace prize winner John Hume, President Mary McAleese, Prime Minister Tony Blair and Northern Ireland Secretary Mo Mowlam.
RTE has been trying to stifle information about the show, which is expected to be one of the most emotional ever broadcast.
But details have started to leak out after Late Late Show researchers appeared in Omagh last week to finalise arrangements for the audience participation.
It's believed The Corrs have played a major role in organising the music side of the show.
But the group's manager Barry Gastor said: "I am sworn to secrecy."
Said an RTE spokeswomen: "It is a standing tradition of the Late Late Show that names of the guests are not revealed before the night."
It's known the show will be linked to a donations hotline for viewers who want to contribute to the Omagh Fund.
The money received by the fund so far amounts to £693,000 but the organisers hope it will eventually hit £5 million.
