SEARCH GOES ON FOR OMAGH BOMBERS

Search goes on for Omagh bombers

DETECTIVES hunting the Omagh bombers have said they would like to speak to a van driver who was seen in the area of the blast around the time the car bomb was planted.
The driver, who was in a Mercedes Sprinter van, was in the Campsie Road and Market Street area between 2.15pm and 2.20pm on August 15, the day of the bomb.
The van was described as having a light coloured cab and a darker rear.
Detectives say it is vital that they speak to everyone who was in the High Street and Market Street areas before the bomb exploded.
They feel any passers-by - pedestrians or motorists - could have seen vital clues that they may not realise are significant.
They have asked anyone who has not already spoken to detectives to ring the Special Incident Room on 01662 246979 or 256676, or use confidential lines on 0800 555111 or 0800 666999.
