WOMEN STILL CRITICAL AFTER OMAGH BLAST
Women still critical after Omagh blast
ANOTHER victim of the Omagh bomb is expected to be discharged from hospital this week.
A spokeswoman for the Royal Group of Hospitals confirmed that one patient had been released over the weekend.
The Royal said it was still treating 12 people, three of them children.
Of those remaining, two women are in a critical condition. Five are stable and the three children are all making progress.
The spokeswoman said it was hoped another patient would be well enough to be discharged later in the week.
The Ulster Hospital at Dundonald has six patients, four women and two girls.
A spokeswoman said four are comfortable, one is satisfactory and one is ill but stable.
There are still two women patients in the surgical ward at the Erne Hospital who were said to be in a stable condition.
A spokeswoman for Altnagelvin confirmed it was treating six patients who are all stable.
One woman remains in South Tyrone Hospital in Dungannon and is comfortable.
Tyrone County Hospital in Omagh reported that it was caring for two women who were transferred from hospitals in Belfast. They are stable.
Musgrave Park Hospital is treating a 21-year-old woman in its spinal unit.
She will remain at the hospital for a period of rehabilitation.
