First Lady pays surprise visit to blast injured

THE First Lady visited some of the Omagh bomb victims today during a surprise trip to the Royal Victoria Hospital.
Mrs Clinton, accompanied by Cherie Blair, toured the hospital's accident and emergency wing and the burns unit.
She chatted to both blast victims and their families during a 45-minute visit.
A Royal spokeswoman said: "She also spoke to staff who had helped in the aftermath of the blast.
"They felt it was recognition of the work they like many other medical staff across the province had done.
"They really appreciated the visit.
"She was genuinely interested in our health service and spoke to both our chief executive and chairman about the health service's overall structure."
The visit was not part of Mrs Clinton's official itinerary - and no media were invited.
The First Lady travelled to the Royal after an hour-long visit to Lagan Meadows in the Stranmillis area of Belfast where she met both Protestant and Catholic primary schoolchildren.
The visit was arranged by PlayBoard - the lead agency for children's play in Northern Ireland.
