PEOPLE HAVE CALLED FOR END TO TERROR
People have called for end to terror
WE have the basis of an agreement hammered out through referenda on the island of Ireland, and a subsequent election in Ulster.
These two historic events showed quite clearly that all law abiding citizens harboured a deep desire for peace on this island as a whole.
It is. therefore, incumbent on all the parties, and the government (or) Assembly in particular, to ensure that terrorists are ruthlessly hunted clown and dealt with accordingly.
It is my belief that once a man, or civilian organisation, takes up arms against the population, or government of the day, then these persons put themselves outside the law and relinquish all lights.
I, as a law abiding citizen, have rights too and my rights, and those of my family, to security, protection under the law. the freedom from fear of violent attack by those who shamelessly bomb, kill and maim are paramount. The terrorists who, for sonic reason or other, falsely claim to be representative of one or other section of society, are merely gangsters and murderers and must be extinguished without redress.
How dare they threaten me or my family with violence.
These are useless inhuman beings and have no place on this earth. These people would not last five minutes in the USA or in any of our European partner countries yet here we are 30 years down the line still putting up with it.
We must also find an effective manner of stopping. and punishing, those who incite. I include in this political parties and rabble rousers of various organisations.
These organisations headed by mostly autocratic individuals, must accept responsibility for a great deal of main-stream, and peripheral violence.
It is now time for the citizens of this fine country to say stop, and to untie the hands of the law enforcement agencies on both sides of the border. For all citizens to withdraw sancturary and turn-in the men of violence, and for the authorities to ruthlessly eradicate them.
