When caring really does mean caring
SUCH a tragedy as this reveals the good - as well as the bad - in society.
The men and women of the emergency services have proved yet again their mettle in saving lives, caring for the injured, and helping the bereaved.
They have seen things that no-one should ever have to and had to act in situations that you hope could never happen.
They will now have to live with those memories.
In the coming days, after the adrenalin rush ebbs, they will need all the help and understanding that we can give.
For the moment all we can offer is our heartfelt thanks and admiration.
