OMAGH will come to a standstill at 3.10pm today to remember the dead and injured from last year's bomb.
The commemorations begin with a ceremony at the bomb site on Market Street at 3:10pm - the time the 500lb car bomb exploded, killing 29 and injuring hundreds.
More services will be held tomorrow, including the main service, to coincide with commemorations to be held in Buncrana.
World leaders have sent messages of sympathy to the people of Omagh.
President Bill Clinton said everyone must affirm that violence has no place in Northern Ireland's future.
In a letter to Omagh District Council, Tony Blair paid tribute to the town and said the consequences of the atrocity were "impossible to define in human terms"
