Two still quizzed by gardai over bombing
TWO people were continuing to be questioned by gardai today in connection with last year's Omagh bomb outrage.
Last night a man arrested on Saturday in Dundalk was released.
Earlier in the day, another man also detained in Dundalk on Saturday, was allowed to go.
Those remaining in custody are a woman and a man.
At one stage this week detectives investigating the bombing, in which 29 people died, were questioning five potential suspects.
Under the terms of Ireland's anti-terrorist Offences Against The State Act, police have to either to charge or release the woman still held; the man can be questioned until tomorrow.
So far one person, 48-year-old builder and publican Colm Murphy, who comes from Co Armagh, Northern Ireland, but has an address south of the border in Co Louth, has been charged in connection with last August's attack, which was carried out by the Real IRA breakaway terror faction, now on ceasefire.
He was accused of conspiracy to cause an explosion and membership of an illegal organisation, and remanded in custody until later this month.
