VIGIL TO HELP HEAL SCARS OF BOMBING

Vigil to help heal scars of bombing

THE VICTIMS of the Omagh bombing will be commemorated this weekend with a 29 hour continuous prayer vigil for peace in Northern Ireland.
The vigil at Omagh Leisure Centre will get underway at 9am on Saturday with the Bishop of Derry and Raphoe, Dr Seamus Hegarty and Omagh priest Fr Kevin Mullan leading the prayers.
Rev David Kerr will join the vigil on Saturday afternoon and it will continue until 2pm on Sunday.
Music and occasional readings will also be featured and everyone is welcome to come along.
The vigil has been organised by Paulette Agnew from the Life Foundation School of Therapeutics (UK) along with local residents.
