MUSICAL STARS TO PLAY FOR OMAGH

Musical stars to play for Omagh

AN all star Irish music session in aid of the Omagh bomb victims is to be held in Belgium, writes Neil Johnston.
Many of Ireland's finest traditional musicians will be flying to Brussels at the end of this month.
They are giving their services free of charge at a four-hour concert in the city's main indoor arena, a 750 seater, on November 30.
Among those who volunteered are Altan, De Dannan, La Lugh, Liam O'Flynn, Artie McGlynn, Paddy Keenan, Paddy Glackin and Frances Black.
The show has been arranged by various groups from the 7,000-strong Irish community in Belgium.
Organiser Joe Hennon said: "We wanted to do something for Omagh and when we started ringing musicians back home to see if they could appear, the good will was tremendous."
