Omagh dead are remembered
TWO prayer services to remember the dead and injured of the Omagh bomb tragedy are being held next weekend.
The Maranatha in Northern Ireland group is to bring 'Christ's Healing in a Divided World' to a gathering in the town's Silverbirch hotel next Friday, October 30 (8pm).
Presbyterians, Catholics, Methodists and Church of Ireland members are being asked to join with Pentecostalists and others in a time of "reconciliation, renewal and healing".
It is to include teaching, meditation and healing and a spokesman said deep thought would be given to God's call to the Church to be the instrument of healing in a broken world.
Representatives of the Drogheda Prayer Group are to re-enact The Way of the Cross at a gathering at Drumragh car park on Sunday, November 1 (3pm) and going to the grounds of Tyrone County Hospital.
Omagh Churches Forum will be actively involved in the Sunday observance and it is hoped as many people as possible will lend their support.
