SPANISH FAMILIES SEND TOUCHING MESSAGE
Spanish families send a touching message

THE families of the two Spanish victims killed in the Omagh bomb have sent a heartfelt message of thanks to the people of Northern Ireland.
Relatives of Rocio Abad Ramos and Fernando Blasco thanked their Ulster friends for their "kindness and condolences".
And in a touching gesture, the families used a well-known traditional Irish blessing to convey their appreciation.
Rocio Abad Ramos was supervising a group of Spanish schoolchildren on a day-trip from Buncrana, Co Donegal, when he was caught up in the Real IRA blast.
The 23-year-old teacher had been making his fifth summer trip to Ireland and was due to return to Spain soon after for his sister's wedding.
Fernando Blasco (12), from Madrid, died with his teacher and three other youngsters from Buncrana; Oran Doherty (8), James Barker (12) and Sean McLaughlin (11).
Fernando's father Manuel was injured in a car bomb in 1992 carried out by the Basque separatist group ETA.
The simple message, carried in the Family Announcements section of today's Belfast Telegraph, said: "The families of Rocio Abad Ramos and of Fernando Blasco thank you sincerely for your kindness and condolences."
It then goes on to quote the poem which starts, "May the road rise before you".
