BIG STEP FOR BRAVE MICHELLE

Big step for brave Michelle
EXCLUSIVE

THESE are the amazing steps that teenager Michelle Mimnagh feared she would never take again.
The 17-year-old from Drumquin lost her right leg in the August bombing which devastated Omagh.
After being fitted with an artificial limb and enduring weeks of intensive physiotherapy at Musgrave Park Hospital, Michelle can now walk unaided and is planning to return to school.
Trainee teacher Suzanne Kelly (20), from Omagh, has also been fitted with an artificial limb after she lost her right leg below the knee in the blast.
Roger Parke, consultant in rehabilitation medicine, praised the pair, saying: "I found them both to be very calm, considering the dreadful experiences they had been through."
