DETAINEES RELEASED WITHOUT CHARGE
Detainees released without charge
SIX south Armagh men detained under anti-terrorist legislation at Gough Barracks Armagh last week in the investigation into the Omagh bomb were released last night without charge.
Orders extending their detention in accordance with the legislation were signed last week.
Before their release relatives of some of those who were held had staged a picket outside Crossmaglen RUC Station in protest at the period of their detention.
Leaflets were handed out criticising the arrests and protesting the innocence of those who were detained.
