THE ROYAL PEROGATIVE?
The Royal prerogative?
In Writeback Thursday August 27 1998, Mr Oliver Gibson said he was unhappy with President Clinton's visit to Omagh, claiming that the President was using the grief of the people to smooth his own problem.
Could Mr Gibson explain why he did not speak out when Omagh had a visit from a member of the Royal family who has in the past found himself in a similar situation as Mr Clinton?
Perhaps it would be fairer to accord Mr Clinton the same motive as the Royal family in visiting Omagh.
PUZZLED, Lisburn.
