JOB-sharing seems all the rage these days, but may I suggest a more radical solution that could solve our political problems?
When President Clinton arrives here next week could he swap jobs with Tony Blair?
That way, we will get a man who despite his "unfortunate" personal predilections is at least tough on domestic terrorism.
The US will get in exchange a man who does show a very public morality while doing absolutely nothing about domestic terrorism.
If this was successful I was going to suggest that David Trimble could then swop jobs with the leader of Sinn Fein/IRA. But on reflection, Mr Trimble appears ahead of my suggestion.
