FASHION SHOW TO AID FUND
Fashion show to aid Omagh fund
PROCEEDS of a fashion show to be held at The Playhouse in Derry on September 16 will go to the Omagh Memorial Fund.
The event was initially planned to raise money for the Soweto township by Cathedral youth club worker, Jeanette Warke, who visited South Africa earlier this year.
However, it has been decided that the Omagh fund should be given priority at this stage and another event to raise cash for Soweto has been arranged for October.
The Soweto event will take place in Foyleside shopping centre on October 23.
A number of local celebrities including Gerry Anderson, Frank Galligan and Colm Arbuckle have agreed to take part
