DOUBLE TALK
Double talk
CAN anyone tell me the difference between the Islamic terrorists whom President Clinton has blasted with missiles and the Irish Republican terrorists whom he has rewarded?
The US has carried out raids on Libya and Iraq as well as Sudan and Afghanistan and at the same time welcomed Gerry Adams to the US while the IRA were not even pretending to be on ceasefire.
Tony Blair has the same double standards. He rushes to support missiles on Sudan and Afghanistan while releasing terrorists on to our streets.
Why has Tony Blair rewarded a 28-year-long murderous campaign by IRA and others with concessions?
He says that terrorism must never win but clearly it is winning in Northern Ireland.
Terrorists when caught must stay caught, to let them loose again is madness.
Mr Clinton is scheduled to visit us on Thursday. On September 3 1939 I stood on parade with my battalion listening to Neville Chamberlain telling us we were at war with Germany. We were alone, no Americans rushing to support us. I did not see an American on September 3 1939. I don't want to see any on September 3 1998.
