ARMAGH councillors embracing all political parties stood for a minutes silence last night as a mark of respect to the dead and injured in the Omagh atrocity.
The City Council then adjourned for a week.
The Mayor, Councillor Robert Turner (Ulster Unionist) who led the tributes described the attack as a "unwarranted act of total evil".
